Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Jeremy Robert Brock, 22, of Wayne, in connection with the unlawful imprisonment and torture of a 23-year-old Flat Rock woman. The victim is the former girlfriend of the defendant.

Flat Rock Case - September 16, 2022

On September 16, 2022, it is alleged that Defendant Brock forced the victim from her home in the 26320 block of Iroquois Lane in Flat Rock with a handgun and forced her to steal a vehicle. It is further alleged that the defendant held the victim against her will in the vehicle where he forced her to drive to the city of Wayne.

Defendant Brock has been charged with one count of Unlawful Imprisonment, one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, one count of Domestic Violence, and two counts of Felony Firearm. *

Wayne Case - September 16, 2022 - November 1, 2022

On November 1, 2022, at approximately 5:58 p.m., Wayne police officers were dispatched to a convenience store in the 32320 block of Annapolis Street for a report of a woman attempting to run away from someone. Upon their arrival, officers contacted the victim.

It is alleged that from September 16, 2022, to November 1, 2022, Defendant Brock held the victim against her will at a hotel in the 32700 block of Michigan Avenue in Wayne and a residence in the 3860 block of Hayes Street, also in Wayne. It is further alleged that the defendant physically assaulted the victim multiple times with a baseball bat.

Defendant Brock has been charged with one count of Torture, one count of Unlawful Imprisonment, two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and one count of Domestic Violence. *

He was arraigned on both cases today in 33rd District Court and given a $300,000/10% bond for both cases He is also ordered to have no contact with the victim and is unable to leave the state. The Probable Cause Conference on both cases will be held on November 15, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. before Judge Jennifer Hesson in Flatrock, and before Judge Breeda O'Leary in Wayne.
