Wayne County Asks You To Be Prepared. Wayne County is taking steps to become educated, trained, and better prepared, and we urge you to take time to do the same at home. There are simple steps you can take to better prepare yourself and your family. Wayne County Executive Warren C. Our Group Purpose Statement

The purpose of the Emergency Management group is to set forth administrative and operational policies and procedures that will provide for an efficient utilization of all resources during the occurrence or threat of widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life or property to governmental jurisdictions, businesses and the residents of Wayne County so they can identify, prepare, and respond to emergencies.

The Emergency Operations Center provides organization, coordination, and direction services to Wayne County Disaster Relief forces and the municipalities so they can communicate, save lives, reduce casualties, and minimize property damage.
